Write your awesome label here.
In person: April 22-May 13, 6-8pm
In four weeks, you could be holding your finished picture book manuscript.
Here's how we get there.
In this class you'll learn how picture books actually work: the structure, the pacing, how to write for kids without losing the grown-ups, and so much more. You'll leave with a finished first draft ready for whatever comes next.
Bring your idea and something to write with.
We will write in class, but much of the writing will happen at home between classes as well.
Bring your idea and something to write with.
Every great book starts as a messy first draft, which is exactly where the fun begins.
(Note: For the purposes of this class, picture books are defined as books less than 1000 words written for ages 8 or younger.)
